Radon Mitigation System

There are several methods of radon mitigation and types of radon mitigation systems ranging from active soil depressurization, passive radon mitigation systems, to waterborne radon mitigation systems. All radon mitigation systems have one goal in mind, and that is to reduce the radon gas level exposure inside your home or your drinking water. Radon mitigation systems can vary in cost depending on the severity of the radon gas levels or radon in water levels and what is needed to properly mitigate. Every situation is different and is addressed by a certified technician who can determine what the best plan of action is to address your radon issues. No matter what the situation is most radon mitigation systems typically cost you as much as any small home repair would cost you. Radon mitigation can save your life so find out how a radon mitigation system may help you and your family stay safe from radon or radon gas.

Garage Attic Second Tap Installation

Subslab depressurization Garage Attic Second Tap Installation - Diagram of the system installation and a brief overview on how the radon gas mitigation system functions to remove radon gas from your home or establishment.

The system works by creating a negative pressure under the home where the radon collection points have been established, with this type of system there are two collection points instead of just one. The radon fan that is mounted in the attic must run continuously in order for the system to work correctly to mitigate the radon from the home or building. From the two radon collection points under the slab the radon gas is collected and the systems fan will suck the gas from under the home out of the radon collection points and route the gas safely through the PVC piping up through the garage attic where the gas exits the building out of the installed roof stack. This method isn't quite as common as a single tap system and is only needed in severe occurances and depending on the radon level or radon gas situation.
